Technical overview
AST-33D1 Diving Oxygen Sensor is a drop-in replacement to Teledyne R33D1-NUV, Nuviar 9510 and Analox 9121-0 oxygen sensors. AST-33D1 diving oxygen sensor is suitable for using with Nuvair Stick and Analox Mini O2 analyzers. The sensor has external casing with M16x1mm threaded front end. AST33D1 also re[laces Analytical Industries model PSR-11-37-D2-1 and IT Gambert D-09 oxygen sensors. Proprietary electrolyte formulation used in this diving oxygen sensor ensures full utilization of Pb anode, thus providing longer sensor life without significant signal drift. This feature of the sensor minimizes the periodic calibration requirement. Sensor is designed, developed and manufactured in the USA.
Applications and guidance
Advanced Sensor Technology
AST-33D1 Diving Oxygen Sensor
The AST-33D1 Diving Oxygen Sensor from Applied Sensing Technologies is a drop-in replacement for Teledyne R33D1-NUV, NuVair 9510, and Analox 9121-0 oxygen sensors. It also replaces Analytical Industries PSR-11-37-D2-1 and IT Gambert D-09 oxygen sensors.
This sensor works with several diving and gas analysis instruments. In particular, it operates with the Nuvair Nitrox Stick system and the Analox Mini O2 Analyzer. Because it is a form-fit replacement, users can install the sensor easily without modifying the equipment.
The sensor features an external casing with an M16 × 1 mm threaded front end, which ensures secure installation in compatible analyzers and oxygen monitoring systems.
In addition, the sensor incorporates a proprietary electrolyte formulation that ensures full utilization of the lead (Pb) anode. As a result, the sensor delivers longer operating life with minimal signal drift, which reduces the need for frequent calibration.
Furthermore, the geometry of the anode material plays an important role in the internal electrochemical reactions. The activated anode and optimized geometry maintain excellent linearity from air up to 100% oxygen, which ensures accurate oxygen measurement across a wide operating range.
Finally, the AST-33D1 oxygen sensor is designed, developed, and manufactured in the United States by Applied Sensing Technologies, ensuring dependable quality and performance.
