Technical overview

AST-75D-PO2+ Replaces 1-16-1013-002 Neutronics/Bacharach percent oxygen sensor, also referred to as Refrigerant Identifier YF Air Sensor. AST-75D-PO2+ is used in refrigerant recovery units by Robinair, CPS Part Number RIXOS. AST-75D-PO2+ oxygen sensor is also used in Neutronics/Bacharach Internal Automotive Analyzer EID-1234yf-SAE and EID-1234yf/134a-SAE.  This oxygen sensor has the signal mv up to 14mV in air. The innovative sensor design with proprietary Pb anode structure provides with excellent stability and ensures full utilization of the anode without significant signal drift. The super activated anode material minimizes frequent calibration requirement and offers extended sensor life. AST brand sensors are designed, developed and manufactured in the USA.

Applications and guidance

Advanced Sensor Technology

AST-75D-PO2+ Percent Oxygen Sensor

The AST-75D-PO2+ Percent Oxygen Sensor from Applied Sensing Technologies is designed as a direct replacement for the Neutronics/Bacharach 1-16-1013-002 percent oxygen sensor, commonly referred to as the Refrigerant Identifier YF Air Sensor.

This sensor is widely used in refrigerant recovery and automotive refrigerant identification systems. In particular, it is used in Robinair refrigerant recovery units and CPS equipment (Part Number RIXOS). In addition, the sensor operates in Neutronics/Bacharach automotive analyzers, including the EID-1234yf-SAE and EID-1234yf/134a-SAE refrigerant identifier systems.

The AST-75D-PO2+ oxygen sensor produces a signal output of up to 14 mV in air, which allows accurate oxygen detection in refrigerant identification applications.

Moreover, the sensor incorporates an innovative design with a proprietary lead (Pb) anode structure. This design improves sensor stability and ensures full utilization of the anode material. As a result, the sensor provides stable output with minimal signal drift, which reduces the need for frequent calibration.

In addition, the super-activated anode material extends the operating life of the sensor while maintaining reliable measurement performance.

Finally, AST brand oxygen sensors are designed, developed, and manufactured in the United States by Applied Sensing Technologies, ensuring dependable quality and performance.
