Technical overview
Model SRX-CA60-4 % oxygen sensor replaces GPR-11-60-4 % Oxygen Sensor. The sensor model SRX-CA-60-4 also replaces Analytical Industries Model OXY-P25-1-4 % O2 sensor. This sensor has the same characteristics as SRX-CA32-4 and GPR-11-32-4 but due to the larger electrolyte reservoir, it offers 60 months operating life. This sensor is used for measuring oxygen in a variety of inert gases and gas mixtures containing up to 0.1% CO2 gas. Sensor is designed, developed and manufactured in the USA.
Applications and guidance
Advanced Sensor Technology
AST Model SRX-CA60-4 % O2 Sensor
The AST Model SRX-CA60-4 % O2 Sensor is designed for measuring oxygen in a wide range of inert gases and gas mixtures containing up to 0.1% CO₂. Utilizing advanced galvanic sensor technology, it delivers accurate and reliable %O₂ measurements across demanding applications.
Moreover, the SRX-CA60-4 % O2 sensor serves as a direct replacement for GPR-11-60-4 % Oxygen Sensors as well as Analytical Industries Model OXY-P25-1-4 % O₂ sensors. As a result, users can integrate it seamlessly into existing systems without requiring modifications.
In addition, this sensor shares the same core characteristics as SRX-CA32-4 and GPR-11-32-4 models. However, due to its larger electrolyte reservoir, it provides an extended operating life of up to 60 months. Consequently, users benefit from longer service intervals and reduced maintenance requirements.
The sensor also features a super-activated anode with a unique geometry, which enhances linearity, accuracy, and overall stability. Furthermore, its proprietary lead (Pb) anode structure ensures maximum anode utilization while minimizing signal drift. As a result, the sensor maintains consistent performance even under varying ambient conditions and reduces the need for frequent calibration.
To ensure reliability, AST subjects every sensor to rigorous validation procedures, including output verification and 24-hour stability testing. Consequently, each unit meets strict performance and reliability standards prior to deployment.
CAUTION:
- Users must verify compatibility with their intended equipment before installation.
- Although the sensor offers enhanced stability, users should calibrate it before use.
- Always follow the instructions in the owner’s manual of the intended analyzer for proper calibration procedures.
Finally, AST designs, develops, and manufactures its sensors in the United States, thereby ensuring high standards of quality, consistency, and reliability.
